importing fonts

The process is not that simple. Mac fonts need to be converted, because they 
are stored in the resource fork. Google for a program called "fondu" and read 
its docs.

Basically you need to zip the fonts on the mac side (with something like 
DropZip), copy the zipped files over, then convert with fondu.

I've had success with fondu and using the fonts installer in KDE's control 
center (under "System"). It's kind of an annoying process, but once it's all 
over, make a backup of your converted fonts so you don't have to do it again.
