Setting the time

Hello, I was just trying to set the time (again, after realizing I 
wasn't using linux 2.4.20-8d) and it authenticates me for root. Correct 
password, but after that dialogue, nothing happens, and when I run 
redhat-config-date it says something about some coding error. Please 
help. I'm finicky about annoying things like that, and I will not rest 
(okay, maybe I will but my WebServer won't)
