Setting the time

Do you just want to set the time?  Try using "date" (type "info date" to
see how).  Also you could use "rdate -s <server>" where <server> is a time
server such as time.nist.gov or utcnist.colorado.edu or clock.psu.edu (see
www.nist.gov for a longer list and their corresponding IP addresses).
