Kernel panic on install startup

I'm trying to install YDL 3 on my c500 (tanzania based
board, ie 4400, 5400, 6400, 55, 65) and i get a
"Kernel panic: mesh: double DMA start !" I have ydl
2.3 installed and i don't get any double dma errors
unless i have my g3 card plugged in. Is there a bootx
kernel argument i can type in to fix this?
