Tomcat 4.1.24 crash ydl 2.3

I've installed ydl 2.3 (I know I'm behind)  with apache 1.3.27, tomcat 
4.1.24 and IBM Java 1.3.1. Every few days, Tomcat locks up. One day my 
whole system had locked up; I had to reboot. Is there any known issues 
with Tomcat 4.1.24 or IBM java 1.3.1 with ydl 2.3? I've searched the 
web for others having this problem but nothing really stands out. The 
system was running fine for weeks before adding Java and Tomcat.
