Guys,
2D video seems kind of slow on X with YD 3.0. I was under the impression =
that all the new PBs including mine, which is a 12" with nVidia's =
GeForce 4 420 (32MB DDR) would be supported fully? But I see now on the =
website that 2D and 3D acceleration is not supported even though the =
table on site says: "Video: Yes."Question to you folks is, if you know, =
would there ever be such support? Kind of disappointed.
The other question is, I get the output from the laptop to show up on my =
externally connected monitor. Anyway to get around that?
Finally, the "cat /proc/cpuinfo" shows that the processor is running at =
533MHz, which is not correct... This laptop has a 867MHz processor. Any =
idea why the output shows a discrepancy? The laptop is running on AC =
power.
rick@localhost rick]$ cat /proc/cpuinfo

Thanks.
