YDL 3.0 on a PowerCenter 120

I've got an experimental server here at home, a PowerCenter 120 running YDL
2.2. I've learned so much from it that I'm ready to wipe the drive and start
over. :)

It's on the list of "Not Officially Supported" hardware, though penguinppc
says it will "work fine."

Question is, will YDL 3.0 install well, or will I be better off sticking
with v2.2?

For the record, I plan on installing the Internet Server (without X)
installation package, so am I right in thinking that most of the bells and
whistles of 3.0 aren't worth an upgrade?
