install on xserver

Hi
I am trying to install yellow dog linux 3.0 in a dual xserver
with two disk. I just want ilinux so I will not be sharing the disk with =
OSX.
I boot the CD but the installation process fails to recognise the hard di=
sk
so when anaconda presents me with the formatting interface i cannot go an=
y=20
further with the installation.

Any help or any documentation I can read to get this sorted.=20
