Trouble with Xserver on LCD iMac

Hello!

I am still trying to install YDL 3.0 on my 15" LCD iMac.
I have cleaned the HD completely and reinstalled Mac OS 9 and 10, and YDL.
I used the graphical installer with the purchased CDROMs and, apparently,
everything was all right.
However, at the first boot, the graphical login failed and this message was
returned:

NV(0): Virtual height (0) is too small for the hardware (min. 128).
Screens found, but none have a usable configuration.
Fatal server error: no screens found.

The system is straight from the disks, without any changes.

Can somebody guess what is wrong?
According to something I read on the Web, it could be related to the "nvidia
drivers", whatever they are.
