Pismo 500Mhz modem?

How about the modem for the pismo? winmodem too? downloadable from 
there too?
YDL does not recognize the modem in the pismo at install either.

The modem in the iBook is a Winmodem, so you need a driver for it, and 

the drivers aren't open source.   You can get a binary driver here:

These drivers are beta software, and I have no idea how well they work 

because I haven't tried them.
