Internet interface switch

Hi all

today I tried to set up my Linuxbox (UMAX Pulsar S900) as a router. All
worked well at first glance, the Farallon network card
(DEC24xxx-eth0:192.168.0.1/255.255.255.0/192.168.0.1/213.148.130.10) works
with the intranet. So no worrries about that.

The built-in ethernet interface (MACE-eth1:192.168.1.1/255.255.255.0/-/-) is
up and running.

I could add a xDSL inteface (ppp0 over eth1) using the network setup tool
and successfully connected to my ISP because a PING -I ppp0 213.148.130.10
(the IP's DNS) resulted fine and I could reach the DNS-Server via that
interface, so I was surely connected.

'ifconfig' told me that all network interfaces were up and running and all
IP-addresses had been well assigned.

The only thing I did not get to work at next, was to tell the system, which
interface to use to connect to the internet first.

There should be a conf-file in /etc but I forgot which one...

Does anybody know the answer?

Thanks for helping!

Thomas
