JDK 1.4 for Yellow Dog Linux

It does not exist ... yet.  Blackdown is still trying to port the hotspot VM 
to ppc and IBM has not yet announced JDK 1.4.X for their p-series boxes but 
according to their site will soon (days? months?).

So unless you can wheedle a pre-release version from someone at IBM, the 
latest is the Blackdown JDK 1.3.1 (no JIT but Mozilla support) and the IBM 
JDK 1.3.1 with a great JIT but no Mozilla support).

You can get the latest from the IBM site by searching for JDK and Linux and 
p-series.

You can get the latest from Blackdown right from the YellowDog Linux mirrors
in software/openoffice/ since it is one of the build tools needed for 
OpenOffice.org
