screen goes black

Thanks to those who replied to my cries for assistance trying to get an 
Applevision 1710 to run with YDL 3 and a Power Center 150.  I tried everything 
you guys suggested, without much success...the screen would go black after 
logging in with the graphical login.

However, all was not lost.  I switched the Applevision 1710 with a Multiscan 15, 
and things work fine.  Go figure.
