I noticed an earlier thread from today (I'm just subscribing now, but I
read the archive) about G5 support, and I was wondering if anyone "in
the know" knows if that support includes support for the G5's cooling
system?

I'm thinking about buying a G5, but one thing that concerns me is that I
understand that the G5 runs at half speed (like some PowerBooks
apparently do) without a software driver for its fans. Is this something
that YDL will be able to manage or will YDL be forced to run at half
speed?

While I'm at it, I know its too early to know, but theoretically, should
the G5 edition of YDL include an smp kernel for the dual G5?

  Thanks,
       Tim
