Memory Creeping Up

Patrick,

A Linux system will show a great deal of memory in use at any time.  
However, it is a function of the
filesystem you are using as well.  In other words, if you aren't 
running an app that needs a lot of memory
the kernel will take advantage of the free memory.  This is fairly 
typical.
