I've downloaded a src.rpm and now have xxxx.spec file in my /usr/src/rpm/SPECS directory. But everytime I issue this command rpm -bp xxx.spec I get back the message "unknown command". What command should I be using. Whar steps do I need to take to finish the build? The YDL lists are confusing, and the Red Hat Linux 9 Bible is where I'm getting the invalid command. Thanks for any help.
