Removing/Resizing YDL?

This is probably more an OS X question... I've yet to get YDL working
perfectly on my G4 iBook and I'd like to reclaim more of the linux
partition to use in OS X.  I'm fine with re-installing YDL but would
LIKE to avoid having to reinstall OS X to do so. IF I adjust the OSX
Partition within OSX is this likely to cause any problems? is it
likely to cause any problems in just linux, OS X or both?
