No strange reason: MacOnLinux does not emulate the PPC, it uses it native. To 
do this on x86 you need a "virtual PowerPC". There is a project (pearpc) but 
at the time (IF you get through the installation with iso images of the MacOS 
X discs that takes around 8 hours... ) you get a "MacOS X on PC" that runs at 
some 2% (no kidding) of the host speed.

But it's work in progress.

My experience however is that emulation (even the best) is only a help. It's 
good if you need to run a program form time to time to read a file. If you'd 
like to USE a system, run it native - and if you want a Mac, buy a Mac.
