ATTO UL4D trouble

Does anyone have an ATTO UL4D working under any flavor of linuxppc? I've 
tried just about everything that I could think of. Drivers isense, 
mptbase, mptctl and mptscsih are all loaded as modules AND I've tried 
with mptbase in the kernel. Modules all load without incident but I can 
never get my 4 hd's recognized, I'm using 2.6 kernels in YDL4 & 2004.3 
Gentoo PPC64 on a G5 1.8DP.
