I just spotted a clever utility you might find interesting:
 /usr/sbin/system-config-kickstart

I know this is off topic but I must ask. I'd really love to know.... How
fast is YDL4 running on a G5? As a reference, my G3/300mhz took 18
seconds to launch 'mozilla'. How long does your G5 take?
