For me, with kernel 2.6.8, adding video=aty128fb does nothing. The 
first two lines I see when I boot up yellowdog say that it either:
a) cannot find the framebuffer address
b) Or that my card is invalid 0x000.
If the exact phrases are important, I can get those too.
