gdb semi-broken in ydl4?

Hi all,

since my upgrade to ydl4, gdb seems to semi-broken. I set a breakpoint in
a function and then try to display a local variable which spits out

(gdb) display body
1: body = Variable "body" is not available.
Disabling display 1 to avoid infinite recursion.

Displaying the call stack doesn't work either any more:

(gdb) bt full
#0 quoteBody (bsmsg=0x10541698, message=0x33c05500, type=SEND_REPLY) at
sendmsg-window.c:3152
body = Variable "body" is not available.

This all worked perfectly with YDL 3.01. The application is multithreaded,
btw (pthread), if this important, but again, it used to work before. Did I
miss some "RTFM" part here, or is this a bug? In gdb, or maybe in
binutiles? This would be a real catastrophe!!!!

Thanks in advance,

	Albrecht.
