Fine-tuning G4 ibook 1.33GHz graphics

Have you altered the X config file at all?

Firstly you'll want to move off the fbdev driver to the 2D
accelerating one - this should just involve changing the driver from
"fbdev" to "radeon"

Theres a few more options to get 3D acceleration and better colour
depths as well

I can mail you my 12" 1.2Ghz's XF86Config file tomorrow morning (8
hours from now, whatever that is your time), which has the same card
and has no refresh issues (that an Irish eye used to 50Hz power and
hence 50Hz and not 60Hz TV's can see) and 2D/3D setup, if you need it.
Never tried dual monitor though.
