Well, if you've already used three releases of FC, you must be a lot more
adept than I am. I have FC3 CDs coming to replace FC1 on one of my
desktops, but haven't tried FC2 at all, and don't mean to.

Unlike many others, I want linux mainly as a user; the *less* tinkering I
do (i.e., have to do, to get it to run well and the way I want), the
better I like it.

That said, I've been well pleased with YDL 4 so far. Actually, I liked YDL
3 perfectly well, and upgraded mainly because I never did manage to get
"yum update" to work at all, not even for all the security releases. :-(

However, the real cause of that, afaict, was that I never managed to get
my yum.conf to point to a server that wasn't chronically overloaded. Now
that I have a version which presumably incorporates current security, and
a yum.conf that works, I may keep up my celebrated imitation of a clam
(for happiness, not for silence <grin>) for years on end.
