HI,
Thanks for advice. You was right, executable for Open Office is "soffice"
and I have found it in "/usr/bin/ "like you very rightly suggested using
"which soffice". The problem is when I run it starts Open Office
1.1.installer which tells, that I already have different language version
of Open Office 1.0 installed and suggests to install newer Open Office 1.1
to different directory(what I have done already successfully according
installer Open Office 1.1, as I mentioned before). Here I got confused and
have no idea what to do to run Open Office 1.1.Unfortunately wasn't be able
to get rid off Open Office 1.0 using "yum remove openoffice" because it
started to connect to internet, and I have some problems with internet adsl
connection from my imac. If there is any other correct way to get ride of
older Open Office 1.0 I would be thankful to find out?
Appreciate your effort.
with respect
Mr. Leonidas Jegorovas
