"GLib incorrectly installed"?

Hey,
I am trying to install LinNeighbourhood on my iMac so that i could =
network it properly to my XP IBM. In order to install LinNeghborhood I =
need to install GTK. And GTK needs GLib, ATK and Pango. So I install =
GLib 2.3.2, but when I try to install ATK or Pango they say that they =
cant find GLib or that GLib was incorrectly installed.
Could someone please help me
