Hi all!
I'm trying to install Yellowdog on my Mac G4 400mhz. After booting from
the
CD and filling in a lot of shit...it comes to the installation part.
That is
where I get the message: the file
/mnt/sysimage/tmp/glibc-common-2.3.1-51a.ppc.rpm cannot be opened. This
is
due to a missing package, or bad media.
I've downloaded a new image and burned it on CD...same problem. I've
replaces the CDROM with a new one...same problem..
When I check the iso for the reported file..it is on it! The computer
has no problems with mac os 9 or 10 when installing.
I have noticed that with other packages the same problem has occured.
Can anyone tell me what is the case here? In other words HELP!!!
Thanks!
Robert
