Opinions on AppleCare warranty for an iBook

Its crazy NOT to get AppleCare on an iBook, the used value without it will be 
hugely less (it can be transferred to new owners) with all the failure 
reports even getting national press, the iBook will suffer extreme used value loss 
because of this.

Also, you better check on hard drive swaps NOT voiding warranty, that is 
directly contrary to all published reports, the hard drive is too buried (as you 
know) to not affect warranty.
