What do you mean by "accesspoint"? Do you mean that
you would like to share an incoming Internet
connection over Ethernet connection to an outgoing
Airport network? I do not know how to do that in
Yellow Dog Linux, and I am certain that a wiser and
more experienced Lister will respond.

However, you can accomplish this easily in Mac OS X
(and Mac OS 9, too, I think). In OS X, go to System
Preferences > Sharing, and click the "Internet" tab.
There will be a button labeled "Start" that sets up
Internet sharing.
