Problem adding yum repositories & yum crashes

Thanks for your encouragement Norberto, the admission of your past
difficulties helps me feel less of a dunce.  However, my problem is
compounded as well by the fact that I do not have a CD-RW upon which I
could create CDs of 3.0.1.  Also I have only the original YDL 3.0 disks
which I purchased directly from Terra Soft... you just gave me an idea.

There are images of YDL 3.0.1 which can be burned onto blank CDs as long
as one actually purchased YDL 3.0 right??  OK... where is that or where
are they???  Anyone know??
