kernel config

That really is why I am trying to upgrade the kernel. Would a download 
of the 2.6.5 kernel source be better than the precompiled kernel 
(2.5Mb)?
I made sure that I was installing the workstation option rather than 
the desktop this time to avoid this kind of problem :-) Naive of me 
perhaps.
