Installing 2.6-2.65 Kernel

I downloaded this kernel from ppckernel.org.  If ya'all don't mind I could
use the following questions answered.

1.  Does this kernel have native support to create a VPN connection
(outbound to a PPTP server)?

2.  If it does, do I need any additional modules to setup said connection?

3.  How do I setup the connection, simply go into network config?

4.  How do I install this kernel going from 2.4.22-2g, do I simply place
it in the boot directory and I'm done?
