Installing YDL 3.0 on a Mac G3

I knew it was possible to setup a 100% linux system on an old-world. All
(I think) I know, is that YellowDog CDs won't boot an old world while
holding the 'c' key but is this only true? Actually, I never used
another boot loader than bootx. I can't argue much, then ;)
