I was able to finally figure out how to copy a txt file over to my OSX
partition. So here is the exact message I've been getting!
[root@localhost steve]# cd /usr/src
[root@localhost src]# ls
back_up module-init-tools-3.0-0.pre10.1.src.rpm src-linux-2.6-tss
linux rpm
src-linux-2.6-tss.tar.bz2
[root@localhost src]# rpm -ivh module-init-tools-3.0-0.pre10.1.src.rpm

[root@localhost src]# cd src-linux-2.6-tss
[root@localhost src-linux-2.6-tss]# make menucconfig
make[1]: *** No rule to make target `menucconfig'. Stop.
make: *** [menucconfig] Error 2
[root@localhost src-linux-2.6-tss]# make menuconfig

[root@localhost src-linux-2.6-tss]# make && make modules modules-install
SPLIT include/linux/autoconf.h -> include/config/*
make[1]: `arch/ppc/kernel/asm-offsets.s' is up to date.
CHK include/linux/compile.h

[root@localhost src-linux-2.6-tss]#
This is starting to drive me crazy. I am sure that there is some thing
I'm overlooking but I can't figure it out. :-(
Thank you in advance for your continual help!
