Sounds like a loose ribbon or connection of some sort. I'd go back inside the case and look for anything unusual and while you're at it make sure all of your MB, HD, & PWR connections are tight. HTH, Tom Good Luck! I'd be surprised if merely rotating the case resulted in a dead board, HDD, etc.
