Probably not.

It's worth noting that there are kernel RPMs available for YDL. You 
have to add the 3.01 repository to your YDL config file. I'm pretty 
sure my YDL box is running 2.4.24 installed via YUM. Saves you the 
bother of configuring and building the kernel.
