CD player (read) question for PB G4 644.

Like I said earlier I tried all sorts of CD's and
regardless of whether they were scratched or crystal
clear I would get the same error messages.  The upper
one is with a scratched CD (but still read by other
machines).  The lower message is from a crystal clear
CD (YellowDog Disk 1 3.0).

I'm very frustrated and disappointed by this one
little thing.  But the lack of being able to read a CD
(and being able to read a portable media) frustrates
me to no end.
