Hey Peter,

Because these are "testing, unpackaged" builds, (although they work
fine), they should be used as they are, just alias them, as you said.

It's better (if you have the space) to leave your packaged version
install for the sake of other dependencies of the system, but if your
short on space you can safely remove it.
