Unwanted Dialup Connections!

Can anyone help? I've tried posting this to the newbies list and had no
response.

The problem is that whenever I login over a TCP/IP connection to my
newly setup YDL 3.0 server (Workgroup Server 8550/132) whether its from
a Mac
(Netatalk) or a PC (using Samba) the server immediately pauses the login
while it
initiates a dialup connection via the router. I haven't got a clue why
this is happening or how to stop it.

These dialup connections only occur when a user logs onto the YDL server
via Netatalk or Samba. This problem does not occur when users log on to
the AppleShare/IP server.

Has anyone got any ideas how I prevent this from happening?
