Sorry I also forgot to ask how do I create a 15 bit display subsection that
you recommended?


You can basically copy what's there for your 8 bit line. You might need to
cut down on the high resolution sections depending on how much memory is on
your video card. You can probably just leave it in, too, because when X
starts it will see it can't use that high a res and go to the next one.
That's my empirical results from several years on x86.
