In the spirit of teaching a man to fish....
RPM is a very powerful command and is often times very confusing. As a Good=
=20
rule of thumb, the arguments -Uhv will allow you to install packages. Of=20
course the package will not install if there are dependancy problems, but=20
resling those is best left to a real world example. So when you get problem=
s=20
post them up here and we can help you through those.
So remember
rpm -Uhv <RPM name>
