Easy install, dumb question

I just painlessly installed YD 3.0 on a brand new 12" PowerBook. When 
prompted for a video diriver I selected the generic GEForce FX driver. It 
*seems* as if the NVidia GEForce FX Go5200 card is working fine - 1024x768 
w/16 bit color...

...but the generic driver won't give me hardware acceleration... will it?
