Hi Chistopher,

since you dont see any oddities under OSX it is most likely just a
setting thing. Try this:

edit yout /etc/X11/XF86Config file as root and add 

'Option	"UseFBDev" "true"' 

in the 'Section "Device"'. Maybe that helps. You can also run
'Xautoconfig' and see if anything has changed.
