YDL 4.0

I'd be surprised if you couldn't run YDL-4 on an OldWorld machine.  
The worst that I can imagine happening is that you would have to 
build your own kernel (or download it from somebody else who built 
it) and boot it with BootX that is freely available on the web, if 
not on the YDL-4 CDs.  So far as I know, BenH hasn't announced 
plans to drop support of OldWorld hardware.  And the utilities are 
all fairly system independent.
