other than replacing it, how can i get the dvd/cd-rw to stop spinning out of control? does the dvd/cd-rw spinning cause any processes to use cpu ??? can it be spinning without any cpu usage? it doesn't do it right after i restart but kicks in after i do something <i haven't narrowed down what does or doesn't start it spinning> ;-)^2
