OT: tibook keeps making clunk sound

well now, as long as i am at the welcome login screen there is no 
activity. after login, doing nothing but logging in, the cd starts 
spinning along after a few minutes. in macosx it starts right away with 
an even louder sound and there is no cd icon in finder. looks like it is 
time to get a superdrive.
