boot time for ppc linux

I am trying to develop a boot time budget for a project I am working on and
I need a good SWAG on the time for linux to boot on a ppc.

the target node is 8641D (I know not yet out, dual 7447A or 854x would be
suitable sub for estimation purposes)

this would be an embedded, boot from flash, static hardware config with only
the devices in the SOC.

what I need is basically the time from when the bootloader jumps to the init
vector in the kernel image to the time when the kernel jumps to (for
instance) busybox init.

again, this is just SWAG type first rev info just to determine if we have a
hope in hell of making the customer boot time requirement.

thanks for your help!
