compiling mol, LyX etc

Hello members

I installed fc2 on an iBook g3 800MHz running KDE 3.3.something including the 
devel packages.
I am trying to compile mac-on-linux version 0.9.70, lyx 1.3.4 and some other 
apps and I run in trouble. I know for sure that the mentioned apps do compile 
under yellow dog linux 3.0.1.
It looks like the compiler in fc2 for ppc is 64 bit enabled? While I run make 
I get errors that lead to a compiler issue.

Has anyone else had this kind of problems? Or am I just missing some developer 
packages?
