Apple 17" LCD Issues

I'm trying to install YDL 3.x on a Quicksilver 733 and if I use an old CRT
monitor I can view the installation menus with no problem.

However when trying to use an Apple 17" LCD monitor the image(s) are all
scrambled with hundreds and hundreds of lines of color scrambling. These
lines are from side-to-side (i.e. Horizontal).

Any ideas?
