3rd party wireless cards

I'd love to hear from anyone using a non-apple wireless card in both 
OSX and YDL.
While I'm guessing an original Apple airport card is the easy solution,
the price of them (for used and 802.11b!) is ridiculous around here.
Too many people wanting them for OS9 I suppose.   I'd rather buy a g 
card anyway.
I know Airport Extreme is a no go.
